Swimming Pools on Carnival Pride

I have booked a cruise for April 07 with my extended family. My mother, who will be joining us on the cruise, has spinal stenosis, and uses a walker. She loves to swim and was asking me about the pools on the ship, and whether she will be able to get in and out. It has been a very long time since I was on a cruise, and from what I remember all the pools had ladders to climb up, not stairs as most land-based pools do, which I'm pretty sure she will NOT be able to manage. Is this still the case? What about the children's pools? How about the jacuzzis?

Thanks in advance for any information you can give me on this.

I just checked there web-sight and the only mention of there pool was for a 'Lido Venus' pool and the virtual picture showed it to be a ladder entrance pool.....you should probably just give Carnival a call and ask about there facilities.

Sorry I could not be of any more assistance....have a GREAT time on your cruise...
