cabs from the port to the airport

was hoping someone could tell me the price of a cab from the Carnival port in Miami to the Miami airport? Or is it better to get a transfer through the ship? Also, does anyone know a rental car company for before the cruise that will drop off at the ship. Thanks for any help you can Give.:)

We payed $22 to get from the ship to MIA.

In general, if you are two or more people, taxis are easier and less expensive than transfers from the Port of Miami to the Miami Airport.

 

I would double check, but most major car rental companies with the exception of National used to run shuttles from the airport to the port. In addition, Hertz in downtown Miami also used to have a shuttle most days of the week.

we always use one of these in MIA. Both have shuttles and since they are both owned by the same company we have had Alamo take us to national so we did not have to wait for the next shuttle.

there is a flat fee for cabs for airport to port and port to airport...thats what we always do.....dennis

Thank you for all the info. Why do you go to National to get the shuttle? Do the shuttles from Alamo only leave at certain times? Thanks again for the info.
