Crouton Posted July 14, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2004 Here's a link to coverage of QM2 at Edinburgh. Don't miss the video (scroll to lower right) which throws in a nice bit of Scottish pride o' the Clyde* for the first Queen Mary -- along with some fun accents to decipher. :) http://scotlandtoday.scottishtv.co.uk/content/default.asp?page=s1_1_1&newsid=4394 Crouton *John Brown & Company, LTD., of Clydebank, Scotland, was the builder of the original Queen Mary in the 1930's. Elaine0138 Posted July 14, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 14, 2004 We had a great view of the QM2 yesterday as she was parked just at the bottom of our street. Hundreds of people turned up to have a look at such a great ship. Believe it was the same at most vantage points along the Forth.

LOL...I agree, the American english was just as difficult to understand. "Decipher" wasn't the best word; "enjoy" would have been better.
