Food? shopping? sightseeing?

We have a group of 8 going on the 12 metre challenge in Nov. We booked it for 8:30am and should be done by noon. Our ship leaves port at 5:30pm. We would like to grab a bite to eat then sight see or shop afterwards. Any recomendations?

Where will you be dropped off at noon? If you are at Marigot Harbor you can walk over to Marina Royale. There are about a dozen great restaurants there.:)

I believe the 12 metre challenge is somewhere in or near Philipsburg. It's a ship excursion so I assume they drop you off back at the pier. I have never been to St Maarten so I don't know the layout.

Chesterfields, in Bobby's Marina, in Philipsburg, is a wonderful restaurant. The food is very good and reasonable. If you want a view,

is a nice place to go.

Check out L'escargot on Front Street. It's got incredible ambiance and excellent French food.
