GUAR assignments

We booked a guarantee (standard Verandah) for our honeymoon cruise in January. I was just wondering when the cabin number would show up online...does this happen after final payments are made normally, or will we have to wait until we get to the pier and check in to find out what cabin we are in?

It may show up on line or you may not get it until you get to the pier. This is the way it goes with a guarantee.

FWIW our assignment has always showed up on-line 14 to 7 days before departure.

On our July 8-15/06 Alaska Zuiderdam cruise, we didn't find out until the night before, only because I took at chance and called them (6:30 p.m.). Who knew they would still be there. Was on pins and needles for 4 months waiting for the cabin number. We orginally booked the MM category (inside) and received the D category (outside). Was great.

I usually have mine about 10-14 days out.............this time I got my Nov 9th cabin # at 28 days....from what I undrestand that could change but for now I have it. Congrats!

Our cruise leaves on Sunday and we got our cabin number on September 26th. (Got an upgrade!)

We didn't get upgraded and got ours a couple of days ago for our late November sailing. I have always heard the longer it takes, the better the chance for an upgrade. NMnita
