Ride to Tabayana

I've read that the ride to Tabayana is really scary. Over some rough roads (I can handle that), but that the roads are very narrow with very steep drop offs. And..you get there in very old, broken down buses. All true? Sounds kind of scary.

Not scary at all. And now that they have blacktopped the road, not even dusty. :)

The ride is not scary. I know you might be anxious, but don't be. Once you get to Tabayana, the reef is beautiful. So worth the trip.

 

I am trying to book my 4th cruise to include Roatan right now.

No problem with the ride & good, paved road.

The ride is just beautiful, we took wonderful pictures from the bus. We had a yellow school bus and it was fine. Well worth the trip over the mountains and narrow streets.
