Parking at Waikiki Question

Does anyone know about the parking around Waikiki. Our plane doesn't leave till midnight the last day of the cruise, so we are renting a car to go around the island to sightsee. We want to go to the International Marketplace and are wondering if there is parking around that area?

this is where i parked thanks to the wonderful recommendation of my Thrifty car rental rep.....park at the south end of Waikiki near the ZOO. Lots of public parking, in lots.

 

It is metered parking with a four hour limit, but is only 25 cents a minute.

25 cents a minute :confused: :confused: :confused: That figures out to $15 an hour. Expensive even by Hawaiian standards for a public lot.

that's a great lot if you can find parking - a lot of times, it's full. There's no dedicated parking for the International Marketplace, if that's what you're asking. :)

There is a parking garage right next to the Sheraton Princess Kauilani hotel. The hotel is very close to the International Marketplace. I don't know the cost of parking there, but I am assuming it's expensive. We stayed in this hotel, so we were charged a day rate.
