Jacqueline Posted October 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2006 This was a fun port with much more interesting marine life than I expected, with almost non-existance travel time to the dive sites. Being that I am going to be doing Grenda again (maybe for the 5 th time but not all diving) has anyone had any experience diving the Bianca C ? I think there is another diver on my sailing that seems experienced but for now he is out of touch (no contact info).
bayswaterbabe Posted October 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2006 I was in Grenada for a week last month and dived the Bianca C twice with Aquanauts http://www.aquanautgrenada.com/index.php Great outfit - excellent boats and very friendly staff. The Bianca C is an awesome dive but very deep and really suitable only for experienced divers. Aquanauts will not normally take cruise ship passengers on that dive as their experience shows the majority of such divers are inexperienced and/or haven't dived for a while. I suggest you contact them to ask - they even have a kiosk in the cruise ship terminal so would be very convenient for passengers.
jimw Posted October 25, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2006 We dove the Bianca C a few years ago while on a cruise. It is a fairly deep dive, and when we dove it the viz was limited to maybe 20 feet. Interesting dive but the second dive was a nicer shallow drift with very good viz and great coral and critters.
