New York Marathon on the 5th

We will be sailing on the Dawn November 5th. I just heard that the N.Y. Marathon will be that day. Does anybody know if it will effect us? Should we leave a little early?

The Marathon goes through all five Boros but in Manhattan it is on mostly first avenue(over the 59th street bridge) and Central Park. If you are coming from the West/North and going to the Piers it shouldn't bother you at all just stay on the West side of Manhattan. If you are coming from the south or east, just stay away from the East side of Manhattan and you'll have no problem. The Most problem is for people coming from Long Island. But if you go through the Midtown Tunnel and then straight to the West side, you should be ok as well.
