MUTS on Which Ships?

We are sailing the Golden over the Christmas holiday. Does it have MUTS? Which other ships have been outfitted with MUTS?

No, MUTS was not retrofitted on the Golden -- plans to do so were dropped. It was retrofitted on the Grand and Sea Princess, and designed into the Caribbean, Crown and soon-to-be launched Emerald.

The Princess MUTS "to install / not install" decision is based on the planned itineraries for the ship. Alaska and Europe are not natural "view a movie under the stars" itineraries. So Princess probably made the decision based on why spend probably $1 million plus for something folks won't use. On the Caribbean routes it makes more sense (or cents).:D

Pam, it's not on the Sun? The Princess web site mentions it so just wondering.

Psee, Pam is correct. Muts is only on the Sea, Grand, Caribbean, Crown and the upcoming Emerald. I just went into the Princess site under ships and nowhere does it say Muts is on that ship. Now of course it may somewhere else on the site but it is not on the Sun. Only her sister ship the Sea.

Just disembarked the Sun on Saturday.

An awesome ship.

No one would imagine it is 11 years old.

But it is MUTSless.
