Rayefan Posted October 26, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2006 Yep, we had a AFT balcony on the Glory and LOVED it! However, there is not a cool breeze, but that did not stop us from enjoying our cruise. It was great and would do it again and again and again. Go for it! GoinCruisin Posted October 26, 2006 #7 Share Posted October 26, 2006 what is a aft? AFT is the back of the ship. The cabins along the very back (facing out) are AFT cabins...

caribbean dreams Posted October 26, 2006 #10 Share Posted October 26, 2006 how is the motion in the back of the ship You should feel no more motion that you do in any other cabin, you will fine you will be spending much more time in your cabin than you did in your oceanview. The only downfall is the balcony can get hot but who cares.

enjive Posted October 27, 2006 Author #12 Share Posted October 27, 2006 when you say it is hot do you mean there is no ocean breeze on the back
GoinCruisin Posted October 27, 2006 #13 Share Posted October 27, 2006 when you say it is hot do you mean there is no ocean breeze on the back Correct... not very breezy (understandably so) in the AFT. As for the fridges, your cabin will have one...
caribbean dreams Posted October 27, 2006 #14 Share Posted October 27, 2006 when you say it is hot do you mean there is no ocean breeze on the back Yes the sun really beats on it at times. of course there are also other ways to get your balcony hot:D but we won't even go there;)

GoinCruisin Posted October 27, 2006 #16 Share Posted October 27, 2006 i was kinda looking forward to leaving my room open and get some ocean breeze in my room guess not Even if there was a breeze, leaving your cabin door open would likely get the cabin pretty warm (plus the condensation)... so I wouldn't worry too much about it... GeekyMom Posted October 27, 2006 #17 Share Posted October 27, 2006 I was concerned about being near the AFT location until I started reading posts of people loving the rear cabins, now I'm looking forward to it. :)
