HAL transfers or taxi from Norfolk pier to Airport?

Hi! Just booked the 11/19/06 Maasdam out of Norfolk. Return on 11/30 at 8:00 a.m. and have a 12:05 p.m flight home to the west coast. Should I book HAL transfers to the airport or take a taxi? I understand the airport is a distance from the port so are wondering which would be fastest and cheapest? Thanks for any advice!
