lg662 Posted October 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Hi, we have been on several RCI cruises and know just about EVERYTHING about all their balcony cabins (best, worst, etc). We are new to Princess and know NOTHING about the best balcony cabins. Can all of you seasoned Princess cruisers fill me in on the "primo" cabins? Are there some (like RCI) that are actually MUCH bigger for the same price as a regular balcony? Thanks so much in advance for your input!! IMO - if you try the search you will have a wealth of info that should keep you busy for hours...
pamwinn Posted October 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2006 On the Grand class ships the aftmost minisuites on the dolphin and emerald deck, both port and starboard, have very large balconies. The balconies on the dolphin are open and those on the emerald deck are covered.
cynbar Posted October 30, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Also on the Grand class, the balconies on the Caribe deck are bigger than those on the other decks --- size of the cabin is the same.
BirmanCrazy Posted October 31, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2006 Also take into consideration that the Caribe and other lower deck balonies are not private. The upper level balconies can look down on you and see just about everything. Some decks are 1/2 exposed 1/2 private, some are fully exposed, and the top one's are private. Just be aware.
