stoneharborlady Posted November 4, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2006 The deckplans show a boat totally blocking room 416 on CB. Was that boat in use for tendering when you took the photo? Thanks, Karen

CrusinAgain Posted November 4, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted November 4, 2006 E416 is the cabin we stayed in. If you look at the deck plans, it shows a small boat. It isn't a lifeboat. Some call it a leader boat. It looks like it zips around fast to the other lifeboats. In the E418 picture is the tall part of that leader boat. As you can see from our cabin the boat was under the window. E414 to the right had a better view which was still a FF category.
CrusinAgain Posted November 4, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted November 4, 2006 Hi, Its a bit hard to make out exactly what is outside the window of 418. Could you help me? Thanks, Karen Hi Karen, no that boat was there the entire time and you can see it there in the picture. It does not block the view of the room for E416 or E414. E418 the tall part of the boat does come into view of your window but not as bad as some people who had the lifeboats covering the entire window. They use the lifeboats in the rear for tendering and those boats are bigger.
chasetf Posted November 4, 2006 #7 Share Posted November 4, 2006 The best is obviously a view between boats. But, the next best is looking over the kodiacs (E416 for instance). Then I would rather have to look "over" a lifeboat (E510 for instance), than look "through" a tender (E620 for example)
