What' s my best option for diving in Grand cayman for the day. Anyone else diving there on the 27th of November?

Know of any tours that take divers and snorklers together?

I believe that http://www.neptunesdivers.com will take snorkelers. I'd definitely use them again for diving.

You could also do a shore dive at Eden Rock which is just a few blocks to the right of where the tenders dock in Georgetown. Many people also snorkel there. I do think that you will either need to do a guided dive of have a buddy because they won't likely rent tanks/gear to a solo diver (which I disagree with, but that is beside the point). If you don't find a buddy on the cruise, it is possible that you could find a buddy at the dive shop. There are two dive shops located at Eden Rock, http://www.edenrockdive.com/ and http://abanksdivers.com.ky/

Other shore dive options are Sunset House resort which is a little farther passed Eden Rock and likely to be less crowded, and the http://www.divetech.com shore dive at the turtle farm site, although you'd have to take a taxi to get there. The divetech site is probably a higher quality dive if that make a difference.

hope this helps,

Bruce
