Supper Club/formal Night

Ok I'm confused and need some help. I'm a first time cruiser and wanted to know if you need to be in a suit or can you wear casual clothes for the reservations only supper club? Also what takes place during the "Formal Night"? I think that's the night when everyone gets suited and booted as I call it. We'll be on the Miracle (Spirit Class) 19 Nov 06. Thank you for your help.
