The USS (Retired) Intrepid was moving from the NYC Piers of Mid Town Manhattan Island and Borough of NYC, NY to across the Hudson River in Hudson County, Bayonne, NJ in the ole MOTBY and with all the dignataries and such aboard the tugs moved her about TEN FEET and then just got stuck in the Mud..

Divers were down yesterday (election day) accessing the muddy situation.

The cost just for the Six Tugs which didnt work was ::::::::::::::

Over $250,000.00 USD! *YIKES* and to think the cost of towing a car...

Today in the hard rains more study of this is going on.. a final answer may be soon to come.

The Army Corps of Egr.'s is maybe getting into this too as well private funding as it is a private organization which runs the Ship now...

See o-o) what happened when youall left us....>>

Now even the ships are getting stuck in the NY Hudson River Mud....

And about $47,000 for a tug of War... only in NYC.. but at least Cabs are less than in Chicago... and LALa land....

Reading something like this reminds me of how much I miss the NY/NJ area. Everyday it's something.

She moved a whole 10 feet. Did not even make it to the Colgate Clock. This is precious.
