caribcruizer Posted November 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2006 Any one know if it is better to reserve your snorkel equipment or rent it on the island when you get to Princess Cays? Thanx....:)
PSCruiser Posted November 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Don't know, since we brought our own stuff, but the snorkel shack appeared to have tons of equipment, so my guess is no problem either way. I think they are charging $22 - might want to consider buying your own stuff if you plan on doing many cruises, or especially Hawaii. It surprising how resonable stuff is online, I evern got a prescription mask for around $70 a few years back. BTW, to the right (facing the water) you will see a little pier with a red roof at the end. Best snorkeling is on the far side of that pier. The fish, especially around the pier, are used to being fed, and if you wiggle your fingers they will think you are feeding and come running! BillandKateC Posted November 11, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2006 If you are arriving early for your cruise you will find Wal-Mart and even some Walgreens sell snorkel gear year round in Florida at great prices.:)
