Has anyone been cave tubing in a pair of Crocs?

Has anyone had experience cave tubing in a pair of Crocs? Did they stay on fairly well? My kids have traditional water shoes but I was not going to spend time trying to hunt down a pair for myself. Love to hear your insight.

Hope this is'nt a Dumb question........ but ,do you wear socks with your water shoes or sandles ? I have a pair of closed toe sandles with a back strap on them and was wondering if I should wear a pair of low rise socks with them. Thanks! :confused: We're booked with Cave-tubing.com on the Valor 11-12

I've never seen anyone wear socks with water shoes. I would imagine it would be more of a hindrance than helpful. :p

I've not done cave tubing but I wear crocs and I reckon you'd lose your crocs in a matter of minutes.... you need shoes that will stay on while your feet are in the air!

They make Crocs that are like regular shoes. I am looking into getting a pair made for water sports, but still good for walking.
