cabin allocation QM2 18th November

I booked a guarantee cabin and have now been allocated a cabin number. This was upgraded from a D7 to a D3. Has anyone any info about these cabins and also has anyone ever been upgraded further before sailing. Cunard has advised me that I can pay an additional amount to upgrade further as I now have a cabin number or I can wait and see if they upgrade me further. Is this possible?

Yes.

On the Labor Day four day cruise, I was upgraded prior to sailing.

When I got to the desk to have my cardkey made, I was advised I had been upgraded again.

Yes it is possible.

No I wouldn't count on it.

If you have your heart set on this upgrade, pay the money to be sure.,

If you are happy with what you have, or really feel that you cannot afford it, convince yourself you are delighted with what you have and then if the upgrade fairy sprinkles her upgrade dust on you once more, it will truly be a gift!

Hi, thanks for that, will keep my fingers crossed. I am quite happy with the cabin that we have got. I am taking my mum and it would have been a nice surprise for her but whatever happens we will have a great time.
