What kind of excursions, other than going to Cairo, can be arranged for Port Said? I expect to be there in Oct 07 via Royal Princess. Can one sightsee in the city and the Suez Canal? Any tour operators?

What kind of excursions, other than going to Cairo, can be arranged for Port Said? I expect to be there in Oct 07 via Royal Princess. Can one sightsee in the city and the Suez Canal? Any tour operators?

 

I organized a private overnight to Cairo from Port Said when we were there in November 2006 with the Golden Princess. I chose Nile Blue Tours after contacting about a dozen tour operators and gradually eliminating the companies one by one. The whole group was very happy with their professionalism and expertise. I will be returning next fall and will definitely use them again.
