Question about the beaches in Roatan

We are on the Grand on the 25th and trying to decide which excursion to book in Roatan. We are looking for good snorkeling / fishing / pretty beach.

 

Any opinions or advice on the following beaches would be appreciated: Coral Cay, Gumbalimba Park Beach, Parrot Tree beach or Tabyana Beach. Thanks!

beatsflying - we are taking the Grand in January. I would love to hear how your time is Roatan turned out. Right now we have an excursion to Coral Cay planned for just some beginner snorkeling and we thought that just maybe Coral Cay would be a little less crowded than Tabyana. Although the pictures for Tabyana are just beautiful. I found pictures of Coral Cay also that looked just as nice.

I'll let you know...from all I've read, looks like the best bet for us is Tabayana beach, it seems like all the other beaches have sand fleas!!

We are also on the Grand on the 25th. Check out the Roll Call board. It looks like a lively bunch. You should also look at www.roatanisland.net.

There are maps that show the different beaches.
