Best Western Pierre Hotel Has any one stayed HERE PLEASe

 

And were is it compared to EVERYTHING ELSE

This used to be a business hotel. it has gone wide renovations lately, do not know if they are still catering to business traveler. It is walking distance (about 3 blocks) from the Museo de Arte (Museum of PR) and walking distance from the beach (5 blocks), and a small but nice park that is lively during the evening, called Parque del Indio. It has a 24 hour supermarket close by also. Request a room facing far from the main avenue De Diego since this is a busy road during the evening also.

The rates there are usually lower than the ocean front hotels in Condado and Isla Verde. a good choice if you are in a budget.

My father use to stay there for business and pleasure. He always said what a great hotel it was. Nice pool and restaurant. Grocery across the street. Not on the strip or anything. We had reservations there pre cruise for January but got the Caribe Hilton on Priceline for $100. Otherwise would have gladly paid the $140 or so that they were charging.

hotel is located. It is a nice place, away from the busy oceanfront. Don't know about taxi fare but it is not far to piers, as you will see.:)
