Room Safe's

I'm going on the victory in Oct and I think the room safe opens with any card that has a magnetic strip. If this is so just how safe is it?

It's not with 'any card'--it opens with the card YOU used to close it with the first time. I use any of my non-credit cards that have a magnetic strip (AAA or grocery store card).

We were on the Victory 2 years ago and never had a problem. Used the safe for ALOT of cash, documents, and jewelry. I don't remember how it opened, but our stuff remained just as we left it each day. Either we had a very honest Steward or it's just really safe. On a side note- I often left cash sitting around and some jewelry; not once was even a penny missing. Granted, it wasn't alot, but when I get in a hurry things get left hanging around.
