free/public beaches

After reading post after post, I'm a little confused about the beaches in Antigua - Jolly and Pineapple Beaches sound great, but are they only accessible if you purchase the all-inclusive resort day pass? Or are they open to the public (and free to use!), with the day pass as just an option? Thanks in advance for your help!

:D Hi

ALL Beaches in Antigua are public, so you can go ahead and enjoy them without the purchase of a daypass from the resorts.

It is just easier if you would like to do some watersports

and eat and drink in the resort-restaurants.

Both beaches have restaurants, which are not part of the hotel and the all inclusive, so you could eat/drink there without the day pass.

Have a great day in Antigua..........
