Combining discounts

I've been reading about people getting additonal discounts on their cruises so I called my PVP to ask if the cost of our cruise has gone down. He told me that we cannot get another discount because we're already getting the military rate.

 

Has anyone else run into this and can tell me if this is true?

You can only get a reduction on the military rate if the military rate goes down.. that is correct. Just because the regular price goes down does not mean the military rate goes down. There is a site out there that lists military pricing, but we can't list it here. The military rate is the best rate offered... and you can't combine with other discounts.
