Any beaches near the Cruise Port?

We are looking out walking around Belize city to see the historic sites and later walk to a beach to cool off. If their is a beach with a little snorkeling, so much the better. Any beaches within walking distance of the port?

No there are no beaches that I know of right off the port within easy walking. Also, Belize city has some shady areas. You may want to reconsider the idea of just walking around. There will likely be tours available at the port.
