Penguinlo Posted November 19, 2007 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2007 It was an overcast, slightly rainy day. We still had a good time. I didn't snorkel that day, but hubby said it wasn't that great. Nice day on the water and the sun came out for the second half of the trip. We would do it again.

cruisetexas Posted November 21, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 21, 2007 We would like to do this when we're there March of 08, but it's not listed in our shore excursions to purchase. I've e-mailed them but have had no response. Was this a last minute posting on your shore excursion pages when you cruised? Thanks!
crisp1 Posted December 26, 2007 #7 Share Posted December 26, 2007 We booked this tour through HAL for our last cruise a few weeks ago. Pulling into port there were 40 knot winds. All water related excursions were cancelled and we ended up taking the water taxi over to Great bay. We are going to try again on our Serenade cruise the end of March- hope the winds die down by then ;)
BalconyLover11 Posted December 31, 2007 #8 Share Posted December 31, 2007 I just went on my second Golden Eagle Catamaran Tour, and I loved every moment of it. We took an alternative route due to weather, but still had an amazing boxing day (December 26th). Water was warm and crew was amazingly friendly as always. If your looking to relax, spend some time in the water, and have a drink or two I would take this tour. I consider this the thing to do in St. Maarten. BalconyLover11 Posted January 1, 2008 #10 Share Posted January 1, 2008 We vistied the island of Tintemarre, on our April 2006 Golden Eagle excursion. The beach and island was beautiful. Water was crystal clear and beach was beautiful. It is a nude beach, so be aware of that. The island is known for having wonderful exfoliating mud. When we were there the nudists visiting the beach had covered themselves in the green mud. They decided to walk towards us and pretend to be zombies. Very funnny :D Last week, because of the weather they took us on another route, with two stops. You will not be dissapointed, this is a wonderful excursion.
