Chritmas Decorations on Cruise Ships

When do they usually decorate for Christmas (if they do)? I will be on Carnival Sensation on 11/26.

We were on the Paradise a few years ago in early December and it was decorated for Christmas. Very Pretty.

I am curious when they take down the decorations. I am sailing on the Triumph on Jan 13.

I don't have a real answer though I have been told that many of the ships began decorating this past weekend. The only other time we cruised was very early in Feb. And I promise the decorations were not up then!!:p

You won't find any decorations on a cruise that leaves mid-January. They begin taking them down on January 2. We've been on cruises right after Thanksgiving and all the decorations were already in place.

We were on the Star over the New Year's holiday last year. We returned to Ft. Lauderdale Jan. 8th. The Christmas tree that was outside was in very bad shape by Jan. 8th. I'm sure the decorations were removed at the end of this cruise.

We have cruised the week after Thanksgiving for the past 4 years (number 5 this year:)).

1. 2002 - NCL Majesty was decorated
   
2. 2003 - Dawn Princess not decorated
   
3. 2004 - NCL Majesty - decorating was done during the 1st 3 days of the cruise. The decorating team left the ship in Cozumel to board another NCL ship and decorate their way back to the US.
   
4. 2005 - Caribbean Princess was decortated.
   

This year is the Carnival Valor. I'll let you know in a couple of weeks;)

Thanks everyone! I am hoping it will be decorated. This cruise was given to us as a early Christmas Gift and seeingeverything decorated would be a great way to start the Holidays!!
