Questions regarding upcoming cruise

My DH and I just booked an eight day cruise from Amsterdam to various ports in Norway in May 2007. We are sailing on the Century. This is our first cruise with Celebrity and we have a few questions.

 

1. How many formal nights will there be? Are they usually on sea days?

 

2. How many semi-formal?

 

3. If we prefer on some evenings to not eat in the dining room, what other

options are avaiable?

 

4. How many swimming pools are on the Century?

 

5. How is the entertainment? My husband and I are in our sixties and

would enjoy something a little more laid back.

 

6. Do you know if they do karaoke? My husband is limited somewhat

physically, so the one thing that he is still able to do is sing - that

would be one activity he could take part in.

 

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. Sorry about all of

the questions - I will probably come up with many more as our cruise gets

closer. If anyone has been to Norway and Amsterdam and can give us

any advice, we would definitely appreciate it.

Suggest you begin by going to http://www.celebritycruises.com/plancruise/ships/ship.do?shipCode=CN and exploring the deck plans of Century. Then search this forum for recednt threads about Century and post your questions there. These are the folks who have sailed on the ship and may have already posted comments related to your questions (or be able to answer them). You might also want to check out the Ports of Call board / Europe to ask about ports and shore excursions. That's where we got our best info. Have a great cruise.
