jingels Posted November 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2006 Real specific "Computer Geek" question. We are sailing on the Sea princess on Dec 9th (CAN'T WAIT!!) and want to have computer access to my office. Does the Sea Princess have a computer hookup in such a way that I can communicate to it through a VPN connection. - jingels

The version of I.E. is a greatly modified version that will not allow you to access your office computer. If you bring your laptop and use the wireless, you would be able to connect to your office since you'd be using your own internet program and security. One word of caution -- you're connecting through a satellite and service can be slow, interrupted or unavailable at times.

steve20832 Posted November 22, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 22, 2006 You can use a VPN only if you bring your own laptop but like others have said, the connection is slow. I wouldn't put my password in a public computer anyways.
