Free Parking at Port of Miami Hotels??

Does anyone know of any hotels near the Port of Miami where we can stay the night before our cruise, AND park at the hotel while we are gone? The price to park at the Port of Miami terminal seems very high to me.

Parking at hotels will probably be higher. Hotel parking in a city is usually very expensive. And then you have to take a cab to the port on top of that. Hotels do not have free transport to the port.

LaQuinta has a property in Miami that will let you leave your car at their hotel for free as well as a shuttle that takes you to the pier for free. You will need to get a taxi to return to the hotel for your car at a cost of about $25. That is a good savings as well as convenient. Being dropped off and leaving easily in a taxi beats having to park and someone having to go get the car when the cruise is over. I hope this helps.:)

Thank you for the valuable information. We generally cruise of out Tampa to avoid long drive to Miami. But we are leaving o 12/11 on Brilliance/Seas for 11 day Panama Canal Cruise. No choice but to go out of Port of Miami.
