The dance floor in Explorers is fairly large for a ship as is the stage in Vista Lounge (they have pre show dancing in the Vista as well as Captain parties etc., the Wheelhouse floor is fairly small but i know there are good bands in there at the moment as we just had friends come off a couple of weeks ago, there is also a nice small floor in the Steak house with a duo, we love to stop by there several times in an evening for a dance or two..........

we cruise to dance so this is one area that we know, and we will be dancing on the Star 2 weeks from tonite!!

We love our ballroom dancing and it is sometimes differcult to find a good size floor. In metres or feet, roughly what would the Explorers lounge measure Hope you enjoy your cruise. We are looking at sometime in 2007

Oh goodness, that is difficult for me to say but will check it out......but if u are looking for ballroom dancing mainly you probably won't find that much in Explorers with the exception of one nite when the show band plays in there , they usually have more of a rock and roll or top 40's in there, but u will find some ballroom before the shows in Vista and also in Wheelhouse, we are not exactly ballroom dancers, we are freestyle and love anything if it is good.

For ballroom dancing, u would love Costa ships, the floors are huge, the largest we have seen on any ships (and we have sailed on 31 ships) and they have great musicans .
