golf43 Posted November 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2006 We are taking the Sensation out in April 2007. Since we are going to be docked in Nassau for 24 hours, just what is there to do in the evening? We are in our late 40's with a 14 year old son. KINGBOBOFTHENORTH Posted December 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2006 Take a taxi to the Atlantis Resort & Casino just to see the humongous thing. And then after 8pm or so the security guards will leave the entrance to The Digs aquarium tunnel complex and you can stroll it for free. This same thing costs $29/per person during the day! Return to ship as there isn't a whole lot else to do when traveling with a young teen. Your ship will have on-board activities. harv1631 Posted December 1, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2006 That is what we just did. We had the early seating for dinner. We headed over there around 9p.m. The cab will be $4 per person to get there. We wondered around the hotel and saw the aquarium around the main lobby just outside of the casino. Then we found the entrance to the digs and strolled through there. We exited the digs outside and walked around the grounds outside. No security was around. It was a great way to see the hotel for free. It is worth the cab fare to see it.
Rare nimbex1970 Posted December 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 6, 2006 if there are good activities planned your teen might decide to stay on ship, if so try senior froggies... even if you don't indulge... the people watching is quite a bit of fun
RizzoLee Posted December 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted December 12, 2006 I second the Atlantis suggestion-we snuck around but even in the dark it was amazing. :) Cab (we actually had a limo-same price as the cab!) was $5 though. And if you can keep the youngin' busy on the ship, definitely do Senor Frog's. It's a blast!
