Rental Car Agencies in Houston?

I am taking my first cruise out of the Port of Houston and am arriving early morning the day before departure. I was thinking of renting a car to do some Houston sightseeing on my layover day and was wondering if anyone knew whether or not any rental car companies had a location near the port as I would not want to have to bring the car back to the airport and then pay for a taxi/shuttle back to the port. Any information or suggestions for this situation would be greatly appreciated as I am knew to this, so thanks in advance.
