WATER SYSTEMS

Portable > 2,700,000 litres/day or 613,000 gallons of potable water via three evaporators and a reverse osmosis plant. The ship can also take potable water on board from ashore via the bunker stations.

Waste > All the blackwater is led to four vacuum systems and can be stored intermediately in dedicated tanks. Blackwater and greywater are reprocessed in a biological-chemical manner inside a bio-reactor, and is then dissipated again as service water. The clearing sludge generated in the process is dried and burnt in the onboard waste incinerator.
