babars Posted December 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2006 We're scheduled to leave NYC on the Dawn on 1/7/07. NCL informs us that check-in begins at 2 pm but I know from past cruises (out of other ports) that they may allow us to check in earlier. We have a 14-month old and would like to avoid waiting in the cold too long. Can anyone suggest, from past experience, the earliest possible check in time? Thanks. mush71 Posted December 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 6, 2006 It was our first time in August and we got there at 11:00. They had seats with coffee and danish in the main waiting area. We were on the ship at about 12:30 and the rooms were ready at 2. You can get on the ship walk around a little and have lunch. After lunch you can then go to your room.
