paulabr Posted December 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2006 I JUST READ THIS ON NCL, BUT TA SAID YOU WILL BE LUCKY TO GET IT 30 DAYS BEFORE. FULL PAYMENT WAS 2 MONTHS AGO FOR JANUARY CRUISE. Cruise Documentation All cruise and air documents will be sent to you approximately 60 days prior to departure provided full payment has been received. Please be sure to check all of your documents and then reconfirm your flight with the airline at least 72 hours prior to departure. Please be aware that flight schedules are subject to change at any time. You will be provided with baggage tags which you will need to fill out completely and affix to every piece of luggage including carry-ons.
garycarla Posted December 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2006 As many (most) have reported in the past, when you book air through NCL,they often do not even book it until a few weeks out. As to the actual cruise documents, you do not even need those. They are just nice to have. You should do the online registration TODAY at ncl.com to make sure that part is okay. You do not need the cruise docs or luggage tags. Just show up at the pier.
Len3 Posted December 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2006 Apparently NCL has gone to e-docs. We're sailing on Dec. 17th and got our doc a long time ago. Also, we booked several shore excursion and they came back confirmed within 24 hours.
CRUZIN TOM Posted December 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 7, 2006 We also work thru a TA, and our trip is in February. We received our E-DOCs via our TA from NCL about 2 weeks ago. About 2-3 weeks after final payment.
