Can anyone tell me how much the taxi cost is from the airport in san juan to the Adventure of the sea and also when we get off the ship are taxis waiting to take us back to the airport.

From memory the fair from LMM Airport to the OSJ Piers is fixed at around $16-17. From any other pick up point it's a metered fair.

We were there in Jan and I think the fare is about $17 plus tip. Just be sure you tell them up front where you are going. They will fill out a paper and that is exactly what you get charged. There might be a little extra charge if you have a lot of luggage but they will tell you that too before you get into the cab. When you get off the ship, there will be plenty of taxis there to take you back to the airport. Just make sure you do the same thing and get the amount of the fare up front.

When you come out of the AP there will be a kiosk & people w/ note pads & a line. Get in line. Tell the person with the pad where you are going & how much luggage you have. That person will write down the fare, including luggage charges. You pay that amount + tip.

 

Going anywhere else, you'll still find somebody to give you one of the slips.

 

For us, with tip & 4 pieces of luggage it was $20 from AP to Pan Am pier in March.
