Distance to Boca Raton

Due to the Superbowl in february we could not get a room in Fort Lauderdale after our cruise, arriving in Port Everglades. We ended up with a room in Boca Raton. Does anyone know how far this is from port. Renting a car is not a good idea, as we have to be at FLL at 5 am the next morning and the rental agency will not be open yet. So we will have to depend on a taxi. Thanks for any info.

I live in Boca. It is about a 30 mile or 30-45 minute ride depending on the traffic on I-95 or the turnpike.
