Dive OP Dominica and Barbados

We are looking for a GOOD Dive OP in Dominica. I know the diving is good just need some one to drop us into the water.

 

Also we will be in Barbados this cruise. We have dove here before with the ship OP, it was terrible. Just wondering if any one has a good recommendation for a dive OP and is there really good diving in Barbados. I read there is, and would love to do it.

Tahiti and a beautiful ship, too. WOW! The sharks were awesome. I always wanted to know how the other half lives, and now I can say I've seen it! ;)

 

You didn't give us a definition for your type of 'good' dive op, so here's my picks. I purposefully look for places with great folks, just a few divers, and even better if they are a bit off the beaten track.

 

On Barbados, it's got to be John & Mary Moore at Dive Barbados. Classic dive shack on the beach, and a small boat to great dive sites. We're going back at the end of February for our third trip. On Dominica, our pick was Nature Island Dive. We have only been there once (on Celebrity), but would love to go back. http://www.natureislanddive.com

For Barbados check out this link where I discussed West Side SCUBA; a good dive operation.

 

As for Dominica I chose Nature Island Dive and they were just fine. They picked me up at the pier and returned me after the dives. Keep in mind that this is Dominica and it is not a real built up dive area.
