Indiana Cobalt Posted December 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2006 Hi: Will be on the Golden Princess during the New Year cruise out of NOLA. Does anyone have experience with cruises during previous years over the new years period as to whether the major bowl games are shown anywhere on board? The Golden doesn't have MUTS so that is out, but is it possible they have them going in the movie theater or other public place on the ship? Thanks. There is usually a bar or two that may have the games on their TV.
AZAaronBoy Posted December 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2006 I got this info from a reliable Princess Source - http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=454624 FOOTBALL GAMES - SCHEDULE FOR PRINCESS AND CUNARD Please be advised that we will be broadcasting the following college football bowl games on every Princess vessel (except Tahitian Princess) and also broadcasting on QM2. January 1 Rose Bowl (USC vs. Michigan) January 1 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl (Boise State vs. Oklahoma) January 2 FedEx Orange Bowl (Louisville vs. Wake Forest) January 3 Allstate Sugar Bowl (Notre Dame v. LSU) January 8 BCS National Championship (Florida vs. Ohio State) As always with satellite connection, there is no absolute guarantee of broadcast, however, football fans may want to pack their favorite t-shirts to cheer their team.
