Has anyone taken a private shore excursion in Greece?

Hi everyone,

 

I am new to cruising and have a question about shore excursions. I am booked on Costa Mediterranea for a 7 day cruise from Venice to Greece in July. I am travelling with my husband, parents (age late 60's) as well as my 3 children (ages 11, 9 and 5). We were hoping to avoid the large crowds and make our shore excursion more multi-generation friendly. We are interested in taking a private shore excursion to Olympia (Katalolon) and/or Rhodes. Has anyone done this successfully and can you recommend a company?
