sviramo Posted December 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2006 We are booked to go with Eli's in a couple of weeks but my DH just broke his foot and is in a cast to his knee. He would like to go just to observe but we are wondering how wet the tour is and does he need to get wet at some point. For anyone who has gone on this tour, would this be possible? Thanks

Thanks He can get on the boat at the beginning of the day and stay there until the end, no problem. And there are places on the boat where he can stay entirely dry. Shouldn't be a problem. We've been out a couple of times with people who have chosen to stay on the boat all day. He'll sit and talk to the crew, relax in the sun, sip the refreshments and have a great day! sviramo Posted December 17, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted December 17, 2006 Thanks. He is trying to do as much as possible with the limitations he has. He would be happy to get out and socialize.
Sheffie Posted December 17, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2006 I see that your DH isn't supposed to walk on his cast, so he will be able to hang out with the crew. The crew is great, so even if he gets to hang out with them on the boat all day he should have a good day.
KnotAMole Posted December 19, 2006 #5 Share Posted December 19, 2006 No need to get wet unless you want to. There can be some spray, but there are places you can sit and stay dry.
