atdahop Posted December 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2006 Hi, Just returned from the Diamond, Mexican Reviera cruise, with my scooter. I have the Pride Go-Go...It was a godsend....easy boarding...went right onn with it...we had a mini suite so the scooter was able to be parked out of the way. I brought an extension cord and charged it every evening. I used it around the ship with no trouble, except some of the doors were heavy and I had to have someone open them for me. I only took it off in Cabo, where we tendered, there were 2 crewmen who lifted it and took it off again. The streets are kind of narrow so it was a little awkward and some of the street ramps are either very steep or not even, so I would be extremely careful while driving there. Any other questions I would be happy to answer. Carole
tlm Posted December 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2006 Thanks for your information. We will be doing the Mexican Riviera in Jan 08 and since I have a Go Go, it's nice to hear that the ports are doable. I took mine to Alaska in September and had no problems. We're headed out to Belize, Costa Rica and Panama in two weeks on the Carnival Legend. Toni
