Victory & Sister Ship Secrets

Recommended Posts

Hi all, we are due to sail Aug 5 on the victory. What secrets can you share about her?

Are there any special "hidden" decks we should be aware of?

What time are they likely to allow boarding? How soon should we be at the pier?

Interesting food areas off the beaten track, e.g. sushi?

We have a category 9A wrap around balcony (Empress).

I forget which, but at least 4 decks have forwards to stroll out to, like at least deck 5 and 6, and I know more. They are always empty, and are perfect for when sailing into and out of ports.

The bridge is located on deck 7 or deck 8. It has wings ( for lack of a better word) so the captain can see the side of the ship from either side. You can go 1 deck above and walk on that deck right above his head. To get there you have to walk down a short hallway and the doors lead out on left and right sides. No signs and it appears as though it is a private area when you first see it. Awesome view.
