Everglades tour from Port of Miami

Looking for an everglades/airboat tour from port of Miami, there is 4 of us. Besides the cruise ship one-a little pricey-are there other companies that will pick you up from the ship and deliver you to the airport-or should we rent a car?

We went on the Royal Caribbean tour last year and I thought it was pretty bad. They picked us up in a bus, took us an hour away to the Everglades, saw a quick alligator show, went on a 1/2 boat ride and then made you wait around at the place for an hour afterwards for those who wanted to buy not that great of food at the place. Then another 1 hour bus ride back. Not impressed. Avoid it if you can.
