Spray tan on board?

Well Adam, been there and done that. After to many years of doing the sun thing for a tan, it's called skin cancer. Now I limit exposure, so getting any kind of deep color doesn't really happen. I don't know about you but, I like a little color on my bright white winter legs when wearing shorts/bathing suits.

There are lotions out there that gradually build a nice tanned color to you, Jergens is great! There are also alot of tanning provides you can put on that fad with time. I agree about the self-tanning. I too had a cancerous mole removed years ago, I had laid in tanning beds as a younger adult. Never again. Not worth the worry! (Ok, off my soapbox..):)

Off of a Spa menu from Mariner of the Seas... Self Tanning treatment... $127. Never had one at sea so I don't know what it entails. I usually get it before I sail then maintain it with one of the skin moisterizer/tanners.

Another suggestion is if you have time at a port, look up a spa and get one there.

And yes, Adam I could sit out on the deck and bake my skin to a pretty leather color (and look) but then who would be around to torture my children in my old age?

Except for the scent, Jergens really is good. It doesn't streak, it's a gradual coloring, and once it dries (about 4 mins) it won't rub off! It dyes your skin gradually--not like the spray tan that will streak if it get wet! (I know there is one kind of spray on salon tan that won't come off, but some do--I've seen the nasty results!!!)

Exfoliate dry areas before applying, so it will look more natural in rough areas, elbows, ankles, knees, etc... Apply to the top of your hands, so the color doesn't stop at your wrists! After applying, use a "wet-wipe" to clean off the palms of your hands!! (That way, you aren't washing off the tops of your hands)
