crusingici Posted December 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2006 Are there any specialty restaurants on the Grandeur? Also -- do they offer cooking classes on this ship? Thank you!
FoodieGirl_VeganBoy Posted December 29, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2006 There are no speciality restaurants on the Grandeur. You can just eat at the Dining Room, Windjammer, or by the pool. I wasn't aware of any cooking classes while I was onboard, although the last full day at sea of the cruise they had a cooking demonstration in the Centrum. They had 3 chefs and pulled some audience members to demonstrate how to cook coconut curry shrimp and bake some sort of pastry (I only paid attention to the shrimp and to the watermelon carving). All three were happening at the same time, and they had recipes for their demo they passed out and they let you eat samples of the shrimp and pastry. crusingici Posted December 29, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted December 29, 2006 Thank you very very much for the answer -- it appears to be similar to the Splendour of the Seas ship we were on last year. I appreciate the info! :)
