Formal night for my 2 boys

Hi All

My 2 boys 12 and the other almost 18 will be attending one of the formal nights with us on the 2-4-07 Mediterrna cruise. I am not sure how to dress them. Would shirt and tie and nice slacks be enough or do they need full suits? The older is not one to get all "gussied" up.

Even without the tie your boys will be fine. People will turnout in all sorts - from full gown/tux etc to short sleeves and slacks. Have fun - enjoy having your older boy with you, ours (18) doesn't want to come now!

Thank You Jo42. My older one is coming along as this is part of his 18th b-day his b-day is during the cruise.

One less thing to worry about ;)

We are on the same cruise as you. My four children, 1 boy age 13, and 3 girls ages 10, 16, and 18 are coming. We will be attending at least one formal night. My son will wear slacks and a nice shirt.
